First United Methodist Church in Texarkana Arkansas is seeking a Director of Youth Ministries to lead the 6th through 12th grade ministry. We are searching for a full time spiritually mature person who will lead and direct adult volunteers and student leaders to be ever growing examples of Christ. The youth director will be responsible for all aspects of the ministry including implement curriculum for youth in small and large group settings, create vision for the youth and families, effectively address all parts of spiritual needs of the students, implement creative outreach opportunities, and successfully communicate with students and families.
The youth director must be flexible, dependable, and a highly motivated part of our staff. A bachelor’s degree or continuing education is preferred and full time experience in the United Methodist church is a requirement. For more information, please send your resume to eric@TheMinistryGroup.com.
