Worship Leader [03/12/2010]

Atlanta FUMC (600 members) seeking full time Worship Leader / Director of Music Ministries to lead the congregation to the heat of worship in an authentic and relaxed way. This person should have creative, vibrant gifts for ministries and also display a flexible attitude. Will direct 30+ member fellowship choir, have oversight of hand bell and children’s choirs. Will develop and lead praise band and choir for worship services.

Worship Leader should have:

Heart for Worship
Creative and visibly authentic
A desire to share Jesus Christ with everyone
Recognize and assess the congregation during worship
Knowledge of the United Methodist Church
Lead and direct a choir of 30-60 and more
Provide oversight and support of hand bells, children’s choir, and youth choir
Develop and lead a worship band
Have a working knowledge of multimedia and computer technologies
